Acceptance of terms
By creating a Wander account or using the app at wandertravel.app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What Wander does
Wander is a city exploration app that suggests nearby places to eat, drink, and experience based on your location, mood, and time available. Suggestions are generated using third-party data (Google Maps, Google Gemini) and may contain inaccuracies. Always verify opening hours, prices, and booking requirements before you travel.
Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and any activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
Subscriptions and billing
Wander offers a free tier and paid subscriptions ("Wanderer"). Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you choose) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from your account page or, for App Store purchases, from your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time except where required by law.
Free trials: If a free trial is offered, it converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Payment processing: Web purchases are processed by Paddle (Merchant of Record) and Stripe. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and billed to your Apple ID; Apple's terms apply to those purchases.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no scraping, no resale of suggestions, no reverse engineering, no attempts to disrupt or overload the system, no illegal activity, and no harassment of other users or venue staff. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Content and intellectual property
Wander, its logo, copy, and software are owned by us. Place data belongs to its respective providers. The personal notes, ratings, and saved places you create belong to you — we only use them to power your account.
Disclaimers
Wander is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that suggestions are accurate, available, safe, or suitable for any particular purpose. You travel and book at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wander is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime from the account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Sections about IP, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
Affiliate links and bookings
Wander may include affiliate links to third-party booking, reservation, and experience partners (for example Viator, GetYourGuide, Klook, Booking.com, or OpenTable). If you tap one of these links and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These relationships never influence which places Wander suggests to you — rankings are based on relevance to your mood, time, and location. Any booking, reservation, or transaction is solely between you and the third-party provider; Wander is not a party to it and is not responsible for it.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded Wander from the Apple App Store, the following also applies and forms our end-user licence agreement (EULA) with you:
These Terms are between you and Wander only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Wander, not Apple, is solely responsible for support, maintenance, warranty claims, product liability claims, and any claim that the app fails to conform to applicable law. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with applicable third-party terms (for example, your wireless data plan). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wander is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
